Wine tasting at Stoano Kato – Santa Irene, Shiraz, 2015

Me and Lisbeth just went to a wine tasting at Stoano Kato, and tasted their Santa Irene, Shiraz, 2015, and I must confess it was a very strong wine. It tasted a lot Shiraz, with some spice, and very dry. I can imagine it being great coupled with red meat.

Stoano Kato is a very good restaurant in Larnaca, Cyprus, famous for its amazingly good food. When I travel, and I want to eat good food, the first thing I look for, is a restaurant where the locals are eating. At Stoano, you will find a lot of locals eating. Below you can see an image of the bottle. This is a local Cyprus produced wine, and honestly surprised me positively. If you’re spoiled from before on Shiraz, I doubt this will let you down. You can read my full review of the wine here 🙂
